Indus Valley, Nal culture, Baluchistan, c. 2800 - 2600 BC. A delicate Indus Valley terracotta bowl with very thin near vertical walls and small ring foot. The sides are decorated with concentric rectangles connected by horizontal lines, the inner rim painted with a heavy brown stripe. The design imitates the temple walls' architecture of the period!
