Finely engraved with a contest scene of animal combat; accompanied by a museum-quality impression. Attributed by scholar W.G. Lambert, Professor of Assyriology at the University of Birmingham 1970-1993: 'Cylinder seal of fawn stone, 26 x 15.5 mm. Contest scene: lion attacks horned animal above tree, hero to left, second horned animal to left. Akkadian, c.2300-2200 B.C. Condition fine. W.G. Lambert.' 10.87 grams, 26.11mm (1").
