The Rarest Alexander the Great Artifact I've Had!
Macedon, c. 336-300 BC. An incredibly rare silver repoussé decoration depicting the obverse of an Alexander the Great drachm. Expertly and sensitively crafted in ancient times, with stunning detail. A photo from the archives circa 2004 AD:
The Oracle Temple at Siwa Oasis, on the Egyptian border of what is now Libya. Visited by Alexander the Great and Ptolemy in the 4th century BC. Here, Alexander traveled from Macedon to learn his future. He wept when he left... his mother was to betray him.

This is me, absolutely exhausted and absorbing the fact that I am sitting in the actual small room where Alexander and the Oracle met. I am not kidding.
